Love Poem of Rumi
You are
The Gift
The intellectual is always showing off,the lover is always getting lost. The intellectual runs away.afraid of drowning;the whole business of loveis to drown in the sea.Intellectuals plan their repose;lovers are ashamed to rest. The lover is always alone.even surrounded by people;like water and oil, he remains apart. The man who goes to the troubleof giving advice to a loverget nothing. He's mocked by passion.Love is like musk. It attracts attention.Love is a tree, and the lovers are its shade.

Valentines Day is about Having a Heart, not breaking them.
February is heart Month
Did you know people can die of a broken heart?
Sure..
Read about it. And consider these songs telling it like it is..
Christina Perri
Jar of Hearts
Losing Touch
Blow me one last kiss, Pink
Broken heart
Somebody that I used to know
Try, Pink
Locked out of heaven
To name a few current songs. For those who're thinking of lying, or believing some bodies lies. Consider who you're fooling is only yourself. But who you hurt may come back to you in a big karmic way.
As a friend says, karma's a _ _ _ _ _!
Don't break hearts. ...
Love doesn't just...
Hand out phone numbers in an REI store
believing whatever they want to hear and go around deluding themselves of being :
Beautiful (in particular)
41
And having a PHD
"Spank"
Or stuff like that.... Can't find That song?
But basically deluded people usually are deluding only themselves.
And then hurting other and,.. themselves, in the end.
Valentines Day is about Having a heart, not about Breaking them!

Fuchsia, and..How to make a Valentine cake thats Art!
Out In the cold, still blooming away..
Valentines Day soon..
What I do is make a 1 layer red velvet cake, and slice in into two cakes.
(Or make two and end up with a valentine cake for a neighbor).
Then I make a cream cheese or other icing, and fill between the two.
I use rice paper to make a cut out doily of boys and girls holding hands, and in such a way that there are hearts between them.
These are in a circle and you can do this by folding paper that is round in half, half again and again, about 4-6 times. Then I cut with very sharp scissors into the paper up and down the length and viola I get this beautiful doily that I can't find my photos of now, but you'll figure it out if you try it.
Then lay the doily on to the cake top and sift powdered sugar over it, remove doily and you've got a piece of he/art for your beloved!

Snow Geese, Mt Baker, Skagit Valley
The Snow Geese are back down from Alaska.
The Trumpeter Swans are as well.
Also in the right area you will find the bald eagles wintering here.
I have photos here of snow geese, some swans may be mixed in.
The swans are nice to watch in spring when mating dances go on, and I love their honking.

Methow Valley
It's cold here!
Colder than in Yellowstone where snow is dry, powdery,
and yet altitude is almost painful there, dryness is so noticeable.
Here frost forms over night even if theres no snow, and it clings to trees like this
becoming quintessentially
frozen, and beautiful against a blue sky in particular.

Mule deer, my favorite kind of deer has big ears!
I love icicles, in my home in PA they hung to the ground,
were huge, and clear , and shortly used as weapons, very shortly. ^^
It's beautiful here. But I have but gotten many photos.
