Daffodil’s in The Skagit Valley
Next it will be multi- colored fields of tulips.
Either way they are colorful and it is a special treat for humans and a few other animals and birds.
We are the lucky ones who get to see color.
But thanks to schools, we don’t know what to do with color. In the US anyway.
It’s conditioned right out of us, soon we will go colorblind from not using it! ^^
But here they are, the fields north of me in bloom.
Enjoy.

A trip up to the valley, swans and plants.
Laconner.
Thousands of swans in the fields. iPhone doesn’t capture too well. I do have video of swans landing though but can’t post them on daily photo.
No tree this year so using poinsettias instead.
I have tiny ones to plant in terrariums today.
And a rare small escargot begonia.
Usually they’re larger plants.
Merry Christmas if you happen upon my blog.
We need to remember the country’s leaders are not our friends if they’re trying to separate us. That’s just a ploy to divide us so we fall to them.
Meaning they take advantage of us.
United we stand... divided, we fall!

The collective nightmare of Covid-19 continues
What I’ve observed this week taking a drive out to the Skagit Valley was chilling.
The tulip festival I’d thought was cancelled but Tulip Town was open. While parking places were staggered, people were too abundant to keep a healthy distance.
Snow Goose Produce was also open and had more traffic than would be considered healthy!
Roozengaard was closed with signs, Stay home, stay healthy, Save lives. etc
The picnic was inside the car it was just a drive and it was rather frustration not to be able to do what is usually the case knowing some people are completely unconcerned and could pop up in their groups at anytime.
I took video but later drove around my neighborhood taking photos. I’ll post some here.
Be well everyone.
