Old friends

In these photos are examples of chrysanthemum I cultivate.
Kiku

Garden I've grown.
Ceramic tiles of my design.
A flower called mountain laurel starting to bloom in my yard, and it reminds me of origami and Japan.

And my big suzani ( embroidery) on the wall from Samarkand Uzbekustan. The. Silk Road.

Art is in every corner of my life although I have not lately been making art in the sense that some think of making art.
But that sense narrows art.

Art is life.
Art is a way of perceiving life.
It is not only the action of writing a poem, it is in a certain observation of life that permeates.

So it is an awareness.
And in this we all are artist.
It isn't always necessary to be making and doing.

It is enough to be, alive.
Each person regardless has intrinsic value. We are not only the facade of this body we wear, but we are that which is everything. That which is all.

We are complete.
We are as Naoto says.
Love itself.

Snow Geese, Mt Baker, Skagit Valley

The Snow Geese are back down from Alaska.
The Trumpeter Swans are as well.
Also in the right area you will find the bald eagles wintering here.

I have photos here of snow geese, some swans may be mixed in.
The swans are nice to watch in spring when mating dances go on, and I love their honking.

Baker at sunset is a true gem.

Yellowstone National Park, The Lamar Valley

The Lamar Valley at Yellowstone

It's me, and a shadow is taking me over! Maybe it is someones 'dark' side?
All Dark sides are not created equal..
Or in terms of Advaita, I suppose they are, but some are more well constructed than others.

A big bull buffalo eats grass. I wonder why we think vegetarians don't get enough protein?

A piece of Montana Sky and The Missouri River, family time, deeply moving, like the river....

Montana was such a nice change of scenery, wide open spaces, and surrounded by sweet family. Hugs and kisses, lots of love, as always, cooks in the kitchen creating new dishes, and kids playing in the yard, water balloon fights, etc. It's nice to be together again, always. Such a sweet rapport we all have together. I'm grateful for this.

We went for walks and drives too. These are some photos of the Missouri River near sunset. We found a place to sit by a dam that was occupied by pelicans, and we sat there and watched them, also talked to a family catching rainbow trout, had some good conversations about how to catch rainbows.

Peaceful, and healing times..

The sky reflected in the water, so beautiful, and  though Montana was hot and fires were burning, we enjoyed this change very much.
Hoping you enjoy the photos, City Daily Photo people, even though they aren't of my area in Washington State. Other states have stunning views as well!
