I miss Summertime, but I'm falling into autumn...finally... so beautiful..corn lily is on the way out, but mushrooms are on the way in..
I love to find them pushing out of the ground, all dirty, and shrugging off their earthiness..such power and determination..
Below is the Chicken of the Woods, found at Rialto Beach one year. It had to be more than 50 lbs of mushroom, in perfect fresh condition. I didn't know then that it was edible. I may go looking for it again.
A leaf pattern tree of life suzani celebrates fall
and...colors pop to life before diving into a restful season..
Below, The Corn Lily in regal black and white, has shed it's poisonousness, and said, goodnight..

It's Pumpkin and Spider Time, Mushroom and Apple Cider Time and Time for Shakti to pay Another Visit Time
My dear friend from Italy, Shakti.
She was here in the fall some years ago.
We had so much fun.
What a beautiful woman she is and such a nice photo.
Shakti teaches meditation and non duality in Italy and other places.
I miss you, come back!!
A quote from Shakti.
It's always true. I resonate with this completely.
"Life is a beautiful ride. It goes up and down, it goes round and round and at times it looks like you are stuck in a traffic jam, so just when you get angry and tired a yellow flower smiles at you and then again you go ahead and again another peack, another mountain, another flat moment. It is never the same and it is for free. Enjoy it all, it is all for you. A gift." Shakti Caterina Maggi
Thank you dearest Shakti!!
In italian
"La vita è come un bel giro in auto. Va su e giù, gira in tondo, a volte sembra che si sia bloccati in un ingorgo di traffico, e proprio quando ci si arrabbia e si è stanchi un fiore giallo ti sorride e di nuovo si va avanti, ancora un'altro picco, un'altra montagna, un altro momento piatto. Non è mai uguale ed è gratis. Goditi tutto, è tutto per te. Un regalo. " Shakti Caterina Maggi
A Jewelers suzani.
From the Silk Road.
A pacific giant pumpkin.
It didn't become giant though!
And a few shrooms in the yard. I think deer have been eating them here.
Thank you Shakti for the lovely pic
And sending you big hugs.

Paradise, and it's autumn
Mountain and Meadow
Hoping to get a new iPhone
($$ darn phones). But handy.
Altho I'm still concerned with foolish changes since Steve's no longer there to make sure this stuff doesn't happen.
Haven't looked at them yet. Thinking larger screen one is best. Hoping for more mp.
Anyway for my usage iPhone is an ok camera.
Sad no mums this year to grow Kiku.
I was just getting the hang of it.
But I've been working with my guru.
He says sitting is important.
Well he doesn't say, he just sits a lot.
He's my cat! ;)
Summer was too short this year. What happened? I'm a bit annoyed that it didn't last longer.
Ideas and concepts are coming and going and in not finding the help I need to create what I think is important for community and a better world.
Obviously something needs to be started. The structure is too structured and behemoth.
My ideas are often if not always too big.
But they're carefully considered.
I have a backup plan though, my usual varied studies and interests, and challenges. Challenges
That at times seem ridiculous
Situations others create because, to put it nicely, they're boneheads.
I had a nice hike up to Glacier vista just at sunset on the mountain. The sun was a red orb.
Met some nice folks and enjoyed the lodge.
Dining experience not worth it.
But loved the little mountain view room.
It closes soon for winter.
