BOO!

It's that time of year when spiders and goblins appear.

Enjoy what is!

The giant pumpkin was pruned back but a cutting took root in the compost pile.

A shroom that likes my yard..last year it had a heart carved in it, just for me!

Pumpkin pickin Time

This is an old photo..
but yesterday, I was in a pumpkin field alone, sitting on a pumpkin just like I am here, only alone.
Butcher knife in hand (borrowed from an antique store)
and buying pumpkins on the honor system for 1.25 each... at a place in the Bow/ Edison area of Washington.
I bought a few squash too, renews your faith in humanity to buy on the honor system.
You drop your cash into a small building in the field..

I love pumpkin time, I sat there and called my girlfriend in VA..
Technology and fall festivals,, ahh, what a strange contrast..
