Last night, a huge fog rolled in, and that’s all that could be seen was the fog

I didn't take a photo, but I had to tell you about it. Anyone who is reading, that kind of fog is substantial. It's amazing where everything around you disappears, an ocean that's 6000 miles across, which reminds me of a funny story. One year I was checking in here and a man had a reservation. He came in and said, "do you have a swimming pool"? And the girl and I looked at each other and we just could barely keep from laughing. I think we're both thinking the same thing. There's 6000 miles of water out there. Of course, it's not really that safe to swim in, ppl do surf here but I wouldnt, its trecherous. It was just kind of a funny. Now the Quinault Lodge does have a swimming pool, an indoor pool, and that's on lake Quinault, not the Pacific Ocean . They're both really nice places. Quinault has been run down from a better highly rated manager. Lake Crescent as well, not cared for as an historic lodge should be. I've hiked and backpacked all around both of them, and I'm happy to answer questions. Now the waves are coming in, the tide is 8.6, the high tide this morning at 7:30. And with the wind that's blowing over the waves, it looks like the stallions are charging in. Always love that look, a powerful surge. This morning pics
of cabins that kids build along the beach, I don't think they spend any time inside them. I wouldn't recommend that, but I think they just build them from the outside because they built a cabin and they use the driftwood and we have plenty of driftwood, I'll share some of those photos.
