The Quiluete River today, 10 bald eagles spotted easily and seals catching chinook salmon coming in from the ocean. A run as they call it. Yes, near Forks Washington of Twilight fame.

It was a sunny, but windy day today. I love the wind though, and the rain, sun, snow, hard to complain, at least weather here is mild. So hiked to 2nd beach, and walked down the beach. hat was nice was all the people coming out of the beach laden with some stuff that was found on the beaches..amazing..

We saw 12 eagles, many young ones, probably 6 mature ones with white tail feathers and white heads. There were sea lions in the water there at 1st beach and the Quileute river, they were catching chinook I guess which must be running, and the gulls were diving for what was in their mouths when they came up for air.

It was amazing to watch and I learned a lot watching. Check back tomorrow for a review.
