Loaf with me awhile... @ Japanese Gulch

Japanese Gulch
This was taken from a bridge over the gulch.
I don't know how deep this Gulch is, very very deep, scary deep :)

It's filled with green, and so many plants I can't begin to mention them, sure giant ferns abound.

People ride bikes here, hike, etc. but Japanese Gulch has a history, you can read about it by clicking on the photo below. You might be interested in the history as well as saving the Gulch.
It's home to the Pileated Woodpecker, Black Tail Deer, Great Blue Heron.

Of course, there are those who want to develop Japanese Gulch, and therefore we have a group of those who want to save it as well.
May the earth prevail.

Earth:

"If a man walk in the woods for love of them half of each day, he is in danger of being regarded as a loafer; but if he spends his whole day as a speculator, shearing off those woods & making earth bald before her time, he is esteemed an industrious enterprising citizen." (Thoreau)
