The weather is: Rain and green mixed with flowers

Reminding myself that having a nursery would be, more work, than this.
A bit of advise. A nice cat or two and flowers and plants, terrariums etc.,,
Not a bad way to live.

Yesterday’s Walk and Roses Blooming

On this walk I found Bacon and Eggs.
A plant named for looking like bacon and eggs.
Golden Rain Chain in bloom too.
Slugs, lots of slugs.
Horsetail. Of course.
The Rose is my rose growing over into the neighbors due to
Sun availability.

Salmon berries forming.

The lilacs are blooming heavily this year.
Use hot water while cutting them to immediately put the lilacs into so they won’t wilt. It should be scalding to keep the stem open.
If they wilt, recut, always at an angle.
And put them immediately into scalding water.
Any Woody stem applies.
Hydrangea etc.
Azaleas, Rhodies

The bacon and eggs is yellow and red.

Golden Rain Chain Trees.
Lush Green Forest.
And Daisies.

The collective nightmare of Covid-19 continues

What I’ve observed this week taking a drive out to the Skagit Valley was chilling.
The tulip festival I’d thought was cancelled but Tulip Town was open. While parking places were staggered, people were too abundant to keep a healthy distance.
Snow Goose Produce was also open and had more traffic than would be considered healthy!

Roozengaard was closed with signs, Stay home, stay healthy, Save lives. etc

The picnic was inside the car it was just a drive and it was rather frustration not to be able to do what is usually the case knowing some people are completely unconcerned and could pop up in their groups at anytime.

I took video but later drove around my neighborhood taking photos. I’ll post some here.
Be well everyone.
