 Come on it, it's cozy as long as it's not high high tide..or a storm

It's fun to run on these logs, it builds balance and stamina

At least walking them is good for you too!

McBride Trail,

Lake Cari Trail, (around Portland)
Kim Trail,
Terrie Lake, (around P.A.)


All these trails, easy to climb, no challenge, not very pretty.

The most photographed mountain in the world. 

Usually found on calendars...

It's sits below Mt Baker (in the northernmost Cascade mountain range in USA)

The lake is named Picture Lake

Plants around the mountain include

The purple huckleberry, corn lily (false helebore), fireweed, a 

native spirea, asters, daisies etc.

It's such a beautiful place on earth. 

And I can see it from my living room 

window on a clear day. 

It's a place where snowboarders come to ski

A favorite place.

Mt Baker yesterday

Mt Baker photo( taken into the sun), but until I go back to camp and hike at Lake Anne Trail a few days, this is the best I could do.
 Anyway, it's iPhone..
Chain Lakes Trail is mostly accessible currently. And... huckleberries are green now, due to be purple by Augusts end.
