Our weekend at Lake Quinault Lodge for Mothers Day....

The lodge built in about 59 days time.
It gets 175" rain annually, so had to get  it built
Before rains set in.

It cost $90,000.00 when it was built.
Such a great temperate rain forest!
One if 5 in our state of Washington.

One of many waterfalls. We hike to them and it's so Amazingly beautiful.

We 're at the river here...

Daffodil Fields Today, Skagit Valley

Mt Baker is in back of the center of the field.
It's a stratus volcano.
Covered in ice....
Today thousands of snow geese.
And a blue heron, flying...
Many fields of daffodils.
This amazing willow...
Beautiful day.

One field of tulips opening...
