Ferry to Whidbey and Coupeville today. Mt Baker in bground
An afternoon trip to Whidbey for a hike at Ebey's Landing. Stopped for
a short shopping trip and at Toby's for a picnic sandwich to go before
going to Ebey's to hike up the hill by the Straight of Juan De Fuca
and down then along the beach back. There were bunnies, hawks, eagles,
small yellow birds and chitons and marvelous rocks upon the beach.

The Skagit Valley
Looking for a feather. I hiked through a wet sour slough to a hill
over looking islands and after sitting there awhile watching birds and
water patterns I saw a feather fluttering nearby. I think it's from a
falcon or hawk.
You can make out Mt Baker in the distance in one of these photos. I
could faintly see Mt Rainier as well.
I was a mess after this hike. I should have worn disposable pants
cause I splattered black mud all over me. No going to Palmers
afterwards for dinner or burger in the bar. I was filthy dirty.
I loved it!!
It was truly beautiful being out in the slough and just being part of
nature.

Today I walked to a beach hoping to find
A special feather there. I asked brother crow if he had a feather for
me. But alas I will have to continue looking.

Car show in Everett.
I went because my neighbor had a food booth. But there were very cool
old muscle cars. I used to drive a Chevelle SS 386. What amazing cars
those were. Roomy. Fast. Cool looking.

Mukilteo
This used to be called The Mukilteo Coffee Company.
I haven't adapted to it's new name yet, The red Cup?
So, to me it's the Old Mukilteo Coffee Company.
Drop in for A cup of coffee...
Personally, I'd replace these chairs with old chairs..
but....:)
It's a nice place with a view.

Third beach
I had to resend these at home. My connection must have been bad when I posted during the weekend.
So here is Third Beach on The Olympic Peninsula. It isn't the most beautiful of beaches there, even of Beaches in the numbers..
But logs are piled about 15 ft. deep on the beach.
And the hike, 1.4 miles one way was very nice..
Had a good weekend, even tho I didn't camp as I had previously thought I would.
Got a late start, so stayed at The Quillyute River Resort, a renovated motel, which they did a superb job on. It's tucked away between The Three Rivers Resort and Mora Campground towards Rialto Beach.
