Seattle Pike Place at night ....with moon

I'm rarely found at Pike Place at night..darn, but I was awhile the other night and it was nice.
Below is Puget Sound, and some of the night lights...
.. and hustle of people.
I've posted a few photos of myself here,
I am not very photogenic, and with every photo,
I look like a completely different person....
so, until next shot..

Window shopping.....too, these are hand made Italian art shoes.
The brand is called Trippen, and yes, inspired by the 70's.

Vital Tea is a block from the market, you need to go here and taste teas. Wow, I bought some lychee, umm, naturally sweet, also some Siberian Rose tea, and blue tea for sleeping..
you can learn all about tea here..

Having dinner at Emmet Watson's Place, the neon lights inside and all the windows creates an interesting perspective.

Pike Place Market, Moroccan Bazaar, Dar Salaam

Where is Saiah? He's no longer at Pike Place, he lost his space. What a shame for Pike Place.
Dar salaam, Saiah, where are you?
I'm going to go see Victoria at Harem Off Broadway. Shell know where to find him.
See my post entitled Harem for info on her new location.

Tucked away in behind Post Alley is this Moroccan Bazaar, 'Dar Salaam',
(you can remember that name easy)
and......
if you can't go to Morocco, you can at least go here,
Saiah will literally take you on a tour that will whet your appetite for more.
He is from Morocco, right in the middle of Fes, actually,
you'll feel almost like your in Fes just talking to him.

Saiah is also a guide who arranges trips to Morocco, and so if you're going,
you may want to tell him I sent you to meet him.
If you aren't going, just go buy some beautiful ancient  designed pottery from him.
Fes is one of the oldest places on earth to have worked in ceramic  and are known for mosaics,
which everyone knows 'I am' infatuated with.

Has bowls of all sizes, plates, lanterns, serving tagines, jars, vases, urns, sconces, etc.
He also carries  Henna lamps, rugs, (Moroccan, and Persian) and camel skin poufs/ottomans, and all this beautiful exotic art you see here, tables,  caftans, etc.

And...... he is having a... 'SALE'.

This cobalt blue bowl likes living with me (below)..you should enlarge this..
beautiful!
I'd like to  have the large tagine (bottom shelf below) for soups, and  so forth when I have company..
I'll need 'a lot' of company, (large tagine) will you come for dinner?

This large vase it gorgeous, you should go take a look at it, and maybe find one to buy.

A Moroccan sink basin (left)  would make your whole house special...

This is from the cafe across from Dar Salaam, sit here and have some bathing rama, and a tea, and listen to the music while you decide about your purchases...

Sweet lady at Thai restaurant across from the Dar Salaam.
I like her so much...I took this photo to her today, but it was her day off..
I'll see her another time.

Pike Place Market yesterday

Yesterdays trip into Seattle, begins with seeing the window washers I have come to notice almost any day I am there, amazing .. would you like this job?

Today I'll begin with the fish, Pike place is famous for fish markets..

1. well, coffee first, it's a Seattle tradition, besides she was smiling for the camera!
2. These lobster tails look yummy, from Australia.
3. I thought that 'fresh cheeks' was cheeky!
4. Then we have manilla clams..a local business selling seafood says, "keep clam".

OMG, I just noticed gulf shrimp..
 I have to go back!

Tell me what you think of our prices..

You can watch our famous fish throwers here at the

web cams

Tomorrow I'll add veggies, etc, and a shot of  some people holding a bird over the cherries...
...don't buy the cherries!!!

And I'll have photos from a Moroccan bazaar,  you won't want to miss this little place off Post Alley
..a few videos, one of a musician there
(he is good, in the Dylan style)
here's a sneak preview of a plate from Fes, (where I have been wanting to go)..an artists dream!

..and as for my cheesecake report..

My favorite cheesecake (with a kick).., Mexican cheesecake with cayenne
