My birthday
The Neptune, a landmark theatre in Seattles university district, to
see Avatar. A shopping spree at a cool thrift, and fish tacos at an
Irish pub.

Irish pub.
Plans for dinner at marcellos faded out with the tight movie schedule.
But here are a few treasures I found. The Icelandic wool jacket. A
handmade quilt. I also found some nice pottery bowls from Germany.
I think I'll still get some much needed iPod accessories. The quilt I
bought as a gift.
So this is the Neptune theatre....

Soup update
I started cooking soup and ramen separately, and that way made a larger pot of soup. Then rinsed the ramen to get rid of excess starch, and for a few days just make ramen to add to soup as needed..of course you can add brown rice, and or barley, etc.

Another Ramen
Using packaged ramen without their seasonings. Add Ginger, onion, baby
califlowers (green and yellow), carrots and kale. Hot sauce and, I
forget what other seasonings. But fresh Ginger made it tasty.

Soup De Jour
A Friend of mine (Karen) and I have been exchanging pictures of soups we're making lately.
She inspired me with creative Ramen.
It's fun since these are sort of fast soups, but packed with flavors and veggies.
My Soup today was this tomato with onion, mushrooms and kale added, hot sauce and pepper and salt.
In other countries other than the US I've noticed soups are part of a daily meal.
Soups are nutritious and filling which is beneficial to weight maintenance or control
(altho that word, makes me kind of ill, control,, ugh)
if eaten 30 minutes before dinner.
