Getting ready for the museum show.

A few kuchi items.
I’ve put a nice collection together I think.
The Banjara dress yolks will show too.
Scroll a ways to find them if you love color!!
I have quite a few collections. Some is my art. Some my collections.
I need donors and it’s for expenses associated with collections.
I collect to share various cultures textiles and pottery, etc so that we can all be more connected.
If interested in being a donor contact me. Many thanks for looking.

Tea Bowls and Viewing Stones

Please don’t buy from countries that suppress freedom. Or from states that suppress freedom.

Japan is a very wonderful democracy.

Buy from Japan.

Scandinavia. Places that treat their citizens right.

And learn about individual states and how they treat women.

For instance,

Washington state has absolutely NO common law marriage. It is a man’s state.

Yes  it is!

Collectible Textiles.

Kimono textiles.

Kimono

Shibori is tie dye

Silk and woolens, cottons.

Usually bolts are around 13-14” wide!

Some silk called tsumugi is a very old Chinese weave technique. It doesn’t wrinkle much and is crisp like paper. It’s amazing what’s been done historically with weaves.
