Leavenworth WA.

I got these soapstone hippos there this trip

I used to enjoy Leavenworth much more, but my favorite places closed up, so I pass through here, The States number one tourist attraction, on my way to Chelan or Winthrop.

I still enjoy the Jubilee Store tho.
Items from Vietnam, Kenya, and other places, and items made by women to support them and their families.
Women must be empowered if we're to have a peaceful existence.
I always 'support' these stores.

Cafe Crista below

Not busy today
Some German fare ...
Coffee, thinking of Michelle!!!
Black forest cake
An apple dessert

A recent trip to Leavenworth, and dinner at the Cafe Crista while watching
a kid play hackie sac across the street

.

Leavenworth was a dying town, and the people got together, ( key word here) and made it into a tourist attraction of German design, selling German foods and selling German wares, as well as putting on celebrations many times a year, The next coming up will be May Pole day.
It goes to show how successful people can be when they come together for a common purpose.
We can make this world a better world, all we have to do is come together for that purpose.

Leavenworth is a huge success, a small town 3 clocks long gets packed many many times each year for celebrations.

Birthday Cake for a friend with a scandinavian invention atop that I got at Leavenworth's candle store.

Trippen Shoes, ya gotta love a nice shoe!

Trippen shoes are the most incredible shoes, they're art!
See the imagination in these shoes? And I think you can order from a huge selection of colors..

Wouldn't the world be a better place if everyone was expressing their art form?

Not to mention comfort..
(Not to mention price..) ..............Don't even ask!
I discovered them recently in Seattle, I can't seem to walk by an interesting shoe store. Can you??

what is it anyway, with women and shoes?
I guess we have a 'shoe's' fetish!

Oh I have to have a pair...some day, just 1 pair!!!

Hmm, I can't decide..
Sale price might dictate..

Happy Birthday Age Of Aquarius!!! Feb 14th Spread The News!!

Happy Birthday Age Of Aquarius!!!

(of course, it can't be known for sure, there are other factors such as precession, but at least for a lark , since an age only rolls around once, (every 26.000 years) let me say Happy Birthday)

7:25 AM
The full moon is in Leo the 9th, and you should know that Valentine's Day is upcoming, and there are those who are saying it is The Age Of Aquarius beginning!!!

Harmony and Understanding..dadadadadada
You know the song..

yes, old Pisces is out, in with the new.
Just remember, in The last age of Aquarius, the Neanderthals disappeared, so it's time to get with the program if you wanna stick around!!
( Yes, I'm definately Aquarian, and we have those subtle senses of humor)

"In mid February, we are offered cosmic support to this re-membering of who we really are, by a rare astrological concentration that brings together a number of planets together with the North Node – denoting higher purpose - in Aquarius. And which energizes and inspires the possibility for transcendental breakthrough and healing.

We measure our global sense of both space (longitude) and time (universal time - UT or GMT) from the prime meridian located at Greenwich, England. We can perceive the collective influence of this momentous astrological event by looking at the alignment from this globally ‘centered’ perspective. When we do, something extraordinary and exquisite emerges.

At dawn on 14th February the day dedicated to St Valentine, the patron saint of Love, the Moon in Libra enters the seventh house of relationships. And Jupiter and Mars are aligned in Aquarius in the twelfth house of spiritual transformation.

Forty years ago, the intuitive words of a song called Aquarius, brought the dawning of the new age into our collective awareness:
When the Moon is in the Seventh House, and Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace shall guide the planets, and love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius ....

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more forces of derision
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelations
And the mind's true liberation

At dawn on 14th February the Cosmos actually embodies this perfect alignment to support our collective manifestation of love and peace and the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.

The Aquarian chart of 14th February reveals an incredible concentration of cosmic influences blending with the energies of Aquarius in the twelfth house. Expansive Jupiter and energetic Mars are aligned with the higher purpose of the North Node. The presence of Chiron the wounded healer offers us the opportunity to heal the schisms that have separated us for so long. Neptune emphasizes collective humanitarian movements and the co-creation of social justice. And the presence of the radiant Sun enlightens the entire alignment.

Mercury also in the twelfth house but just beyond the cusp in Capricorn, allies with transformational Pluto to communicate and anchor the Shift throughout our global structures and institutions.

The Moon in Libra in the seventh house emphasizes harmonious real –ationships.

Venus in Aries in the first house energizes and empowers dynamic co-creativity.

And whilst Saturn the great task master in opposition to Uranus the unexpected awakener is suggesting an ongoing confrontation as the dregs of the unsustainable old paradigm reluctantly give way to the untested hope of the new, their placements in Virgo and Pisces brings practical altruism and visionary inspiration to the transition."more here

Seattle Pike Place at night ....with moon

I'm rarely found at Pike Place at night..darn, but I was awhile the other night and it was nice.
Below is Puget Sound, and some of the night lights...
.. and hustle of people.
I've posted a few photos of myself here,
I am not very photogenic, and with every photo,
I look like a completely different person....
so, until next shot..

Window shopping.....too, these are hand made Italian art shoes.
The brand is called Trippen, and yes, inspired by the 70's.

Vital Tea is a block from the market, you need to go here and taste teas. Wow, I bought some lychee, umm, naturally sweet, also some Siberian Rose tea, and blue tea for sleeping..
you can learn all about tea here..

Having dinner at Emmet Watson's Place, the neon lights inside and all the windows creates an interesting perspective.
