Beginning...Crissmiss! Joy to the World!!
A string of lights brightens a beautiful tree. So green.
Tomorrow we will add a string, and for tonight some birds were added. A few ornaments.
But really have to wait for more lights.
I think this calls for some homemade cookies.
Milk.
A little cheer
An intimate party;
To celebrate this upcoming event.
Dancing and singing!
Peace and Joy!

Dear Blogger, for Christmas, I need a border for my Header Photo
The Thing is, I need it Now! Ok?
One early present is all I ask..
As you can see, I can't make this design work, without a border..
Yours Truly,
Sherry......
PS.
I know you can do it....
....and I have been a very 'amazingly' good girl, under the most challenging
circumstances "give or take a time or two"!

Apologies to Leonard Cohen
**Oh, and a font between small and normal would be nice..

The latest suzani. Needs cleaning. It's huge. I think I know where to put it!
Samarkand Suzani
It's beautiful. I appreciate the women who did all this embroidery.

Thumbnails of Samarkand Suzanis. Embroideries from Uzbekustan.
Amazing designs used by women of Uzbekistan to create suzani.s, embroideries, used for dowry.
However when Russia took them over, they wouldn't allow women to sew these embroideries. Now they prefer computers which aren't nearly as stunning as these are.
Suzani's from Samarkand tradition and area of Uzbekisten..
They have these large sun and moon motifs.
Goethe
"Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!"
But in truth, there is no you to accomplish, only life animating a sense of you, ( a separate you) a life that you take credit for or that you blame for your misconceptions of it. This is where judgments arise, and all kinds of things deluded. Causing delusion to take a seeming place of reality. Reality is non judgmental, unwavering, pure love and energy beyond compare. SS

Finally, I, who conceptualized and gave my idea to Apple computer via a CS rep ,(for the illuminated keyboard), now owns the illuminated keyboard which I wanted on Apple computers for the past 10 years. So Happy to have this now!

Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful these tulips were $1.50!
This crushed velvet Suzani from Uzbekisten, all cotton btw is a prayer suzani.
Suzani means needle. Suzani's are ancient treasures for women's dowries made i
n many parts of the world, including Uzbekistan.
They used them to cover walls in their homes, primarily. But this one is for prayers.
