Fidalgo Island sunset. Moon rise last night

After kayaking in the bay, we joined a host of folks settled in to watch the sun set on the day sitting upon the rocky surface of a small island just off the bay. And just to our backs an orange full moon rose to dominance.

Kayaked out to island and hiked round it.

 Kayaked back and hiked over to view the Strait  (Juan De Fuca) for sunset. Picnic, what a nice afternoon, left home about 4:30 pm, nad had a nice hike, about 1.5 miles, plus kayaking, and in time to relax for the sunset..and full moon!
