Trip Down the coast to CA and to Ashland Oregon, and back up the coast via dunes, waves, hikes, and smiles

 Canopies of giant redwoods..

Dyerville Giant, seen as folks walk by revealing it's size. Google it, it's amazing, largest living thing on earth when it fell in 1991, larger than Statue of Liberty and also Niagara Falls..

 Succulents on beach
 Redwood Beach CA

 Fern Canyon in CA.

 400 species of fern
 sand dunes, southern Oregon

At Depoe Bay (Oregon) we spotted gray whales..

Happy days are here again!

After a few minor inconveniences, knat like......

Life is Good! Crazy, but good!
I cannot begin to tell you what craziness I have experienced for awhile now.

And just how desperate some people are for something that isn't theirs to have.
(including, but not limited to, a view of water)
No wonder we have wars!
I have bumped into some very desperate people lately, and believe me, desperate people DO desperate things, and project amazingly!

But onward, into nature, where we can always walk to a beach nearby.

Benbow inn at Graberville CA and avenue of the giants(sequoias) wow! Built in 1930's. Really beautifully restored.

We plan to go back soon tour CA coast more, stay at Benbow again.. Benbow Inn, http://www.benbowinn.com/

They did such a nice job renovating,, I love it.. Want to stay for a few days, maybe 3..

Wall Paper and drapes match, and ceilings in 3rd story are still 10' tall, downstairs much taller, like my family Victorian home, with 12' ceilings, I love spaciousness is that way..

The Redwoods!

Had to catch up here, I send photos via my phone, but I have to get back and post the words to go with them as posts of photos sent via phone don't copy the words I might add.

Sometimes obviously, I never get back to it. I doubt words add anything much in some cases that photos don't convey on their own. But I enjoy reading others experiences so, maybe you like to read about mine.

This summer has been the way past summers have been, not much sun, but now we have sun, but no time to do things we ordinarily would like to do; camping, backpacking, hiking, kayaking, travel, etc.

This photo is an old one from one of our favorite beaches, starfish..

A piece of Montana Sky and The Missouri River, family time, deeply moving, like the river....

Montana was such a nice change of scenery, wide open spaces, and surrounded by sweet family. Hugs and kisses, lots of love, as always, cooks in the kitchen creating new dishes, and kids playing in the yard, water balloon fights, etc. It's nice to be together again, always. Such a sweet rapport we all have together. I'm grateful for this.

We went for walks and drives too. These are some photos of the Missouri River near sunset. We found a place to sit by a dam that was occupied by pelicans, and we sat there and watched them, also talked to a family catching rainbow trout, had some good conversations about how to catch rainbows.

Peaceful, and healing times..

The sky reflected in the water, so beautiful, and  though Montana was hot and fires were burning, we enjoyed this change very much.
Hoping you enjoy the photos, City Daily Photo people, even though they aren't of my area in Washington State. Other states have stunning views as well!

@ Greenlake, my friend visiting from Utah!!

We had a great visit, nice talk, and long walk around the lake.
Life is good.

Glacier Park. two Medicine Lake, and Lodge at Glacier,.. Great fun place!!

Two Medicine Lake at Glacier, a beautiful place. Enjoyed the lodge so much. At night everyone gathered in a room watching the Olympics, and eating berry pies and I noticed some good looking burgers. You don't find such nice burgers in Washington.
For meat lovers Montana is a good place for a burger I guess.

Compared to lodges where I stay in Washington, this one was huge, you can see this Moose head doesn't look all that big in such a large space.
