Roosevelt Elk at the Hoh rain forest. Not bugeling but camoflaged in the forest. The dark one is very handsome.

The Hoh river. And there's an eagle in one shot but hard to see probably.

It's mushroom season. This one is 6" tall. At the ocean. Amazing shroom!

Kalaloch Beach
I'm afraid I'm hopelessly in love with my Washington home. I'm
certainly living and have enjoyed every day of the 18 years I've lived
here.
This is a spectacular place.
And to quote Dorothy, "there's no place like home!

This is Kalaloch Beach. A typical Washington beach littered with major driftwood.

The Sylvia Beach Hotel

The room is calling out to me already.....

View from Colette's room

One of my two beds.....

My desk, and a Persian rug so I'll feel very much at home..a fireplace to take off the evening chill...

Red is one of my current favorite colors. I love these daybeds by the sea..

My sink and bath await after an early morning stroll down the beach, then
it's breakfast downstairs and back to the grueling work of writing...
I'm sure I can do this....:~)
