Short trip to Horseshoe Bend Trail
Horseshoe Bend Trail
Note the glacial run off
From MT Baker
Not the usual clear running water. It was muggy on the fern filled trail if even barely away from the water.
And below photos of the master...

An Early walk in the Garden
The dew still glistens on the flowers, and lighting enhances their beauty.

I keep thinking of sailing again...
As a child I took sailing lessons along with other boating and life savings of course.
Lately I've become interested in sailing again.
And island living while I make art and work on inventions.
I guess it's all doable....somehow!!!
I've decided I'll show the collection of Silk Road embroideries I've collected.
If I can get a museum tour interested. I've tried to get in touch with a museum director friend.
And I've determined I must downsize and find a market for my various collections.
After all sailing is a lifestyle of its own.
I've been learning all about the Salish Sea and if nothing else I'll retain the knowledge gained.
It's all good.

From Lummi Island
Lummi island is an isle in the Archipelago of the Salish Sea.
I have friends here and often stay on the island.
My daughter was here and we stayed on the island awhile, the weather was stunning.
We enjoyed lunch and vino at the cafe on the porch and watched sailboats sail by.
I'm going to take sailing lessons again. It's been since I was a kid.
