Some fall color at the Hoh.

The Hoh again.

Rain forest gets about 250 inches of rain a year and I'm dry, so
lucky. Trees grow faster here than any place on earth.

A few Roosevelt elk at the Hoh this morning.

This dark one is beautiful. There were 5 bulls in this one spot.

Roosevelt elk at the Hoh. Also an amphitheatre here and campground.

The Hoh rain forest. Two elk in these photos and typical rain forest trees.

Roosevelt Elk at the Hoh rain forest. Not bugeling but camoflaged in the forest. The dark one is very handsome.

The Hoh river. And there's an eagle in one shot but hard to see probably.

Time to get coffee and head for the Hoh. Maybe it's not too late to hear the elks bugle

Some early morning shots. Now I need coffee.

Sunrise at Kalaloch Beach this morning. It's sure nice to be able to set up email posts.

It's mushroom season. This one is 6" tall. At the ocean. Amazing shroom!

Kalaloch Beach

I'm afraid I'm hopelessly in love with my Washington home. I'm
certainly living and have enjoyed every day of the 18 years I've lived
here.
This is a spectacular place.
And to quote Dorothy, "there's no place like home!

A video of Kalaloch Beach. Olympic Peninsula, Washington

This is Kalaloch Beach. A typical Washington beach littered with major driftwood.

Best time to have chowder. On the ferry. Hi everyone.
