Map of the Inside Passage to Alaska

Alaska Specials..just a quick note here, the ferry to Alaska is a fun trip, inexpensive and here is a coupon book for 2 for 1 items for 99.00.
I'll try to get some pictures posted of on the ferry, where we lived in tentville...of course they have state rooms for weenies..and you can crash anywhere on the ferry. They have showers, and lockers, and you will see Gray whales, Orcas, and thousands of eagles through the Wrangell Narrows.
And.. a fine dining room, as well as snack bar. And you can take your car, but it is priced by size, so make that small. Rv's can also travel the ferry, see the site for info on prices, and size requirements/limits.

Magnificent view!
Who'd want to stay in an enclosed room with scenery this grand!
Such a stunning backdrop.
Hope to make the trip next summer.
Hilda, hi! The solarium might be for you, with deck chairs and a heater from above that comes on at nightfall, (of course night gets shorter and shorter as you head northward), but the solarium is fun, tents are more private. The state rooms are, well.... stuffy.. if you do go, and want a state room, it is not bad advice to take a tent, and wait until sail is set, then they announce specials, because the rooms are usually not used or fully occupied.
Eamon, thanks for commenting, and stopping by.
B Squared, you will enjoy the natural beauty, unencumbered by the cruisers need for constant entertainment. Be sure to take tethers for your tent, mine almost blew away, only tied down with shoe laces. Ahh, well, the adventure of seeing your tent with backpack, boots, shoes, behaving like a kite over the deck just feet from the ocean, while dining in the fine dining room..lol
